Maestro Ilayaraja surprised director Bala by working on a Sunday. The music composer, just like the rest of those in Kollywood, takes this day off every week but decided to work this particular Sunday for Bala.

Ilayaraja is scoring the music for Bala’s upcoming film based on Karagaatam and this work is currently in progress. It is interesting to hear that the maestro had scored 12 tunes in merely six days and now the recording process is on at the Prasad Labs. The composer is quite involved in this film as it is said to bring back memories of the making of Karagaatam a couple of decades ago. This film, which had Ramarajan and Kanaka in the lead, had some of the best songs ever.
