Dulquer’s ambitious project with Prathap Pothen, Love in Angengo has been been shelved. Apparently the film’s director Prathap Pothen, who was set to return to direction after a gap of 20 ears was unhappy with the script written by Anjali Menon. The director was expecting a love story but Anjali’s story did not impress him and they had difference of opinion with the climax also. Therefore the director has walked out of the project. The film has been having issues from the get go . Initially Jayaram’s son Kalidas was roped in to play the lead, but the actor turned down the offer as he was unwilling to work with the veteran director. This let to a public fallout between Prathap Pothen and Jayaram. The role later went to Dulquer Salmaan.

The director also has issues with the film’s cinematographer Rajiv Menon. Prathap Pothen was looking forward to reviving his production house Supriya films with this movie. The director who is very active on social media made his displeasure with Anjali Menon known. Anjali Menon is a National Award winning scriptwriter and director. She has previously worked with Dulquer in Ustad Hotel and Bangalore Days.
