Kalabhavan Shajon’s act in Jeethu Joseph’s Dridhyam impressed Shankar so much that he has roped in the talented actor for 2.0. Apparently Shajon was overwhelmed by the offer but has some problems in working out dates. Shankar however came to his aid and adjusted his schedule to match Shajon’s. The actor is touched by the kind gesture. 2.0 is the sequel to Shankar’s mega hit Enthiran and stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead.

Shajon has mostly seen in negative cop roles like in Dileep’s Welcome to Central Jail or in Mohanlal’s Oppam and has purposefully tried to do other characters like in his upcoming releases Pareed Pandari, he plays a 70 year old man opposite Sajitha Madathil and is also part of Mammootty’s The Great Father. He will also be making his debut as a director with Prithviraj in the lead next year.
