Suriya’s Singam 3 has been postponed multiple times till now due to unavoidable reasons. First the production team postponed it  so that Ram Charan’s Dhruva can have a smooth release . Following  former chief minister J Jayalalithaa’s death and Vardah cyclone, things were not conducive for release. Finally Republic day was locked in, however ongoing Jallikattu protests stalled the release. The film is finally hitting screens tomorrow.

Touted to be the best and the costliest film in the franchise, the team are hoping for a huge hit.  But they were facing trouble from illegal streaming site Tamil rockers which challenged that they will live stream the movie as soon as it releases. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green filed a writ petition to restrain the Internet Service Providers Association (ISPA) of India from releasing the film online.

The team has now been given a breather with the Madras High court giving an injunction. A solid move from the judiciary to curtail piracy.
