Rana has been experimenting with his roles, ever since his debut in Leader. The actor has made varied choices instead of sticking to run of the mill commercial cinema. He gained fame and popularity with his role a Bhalladeva in Baahubali but instead of resting on his laurels he went on to do films like Ghazi and Nene Raju Nene Mantri.
His next will about the missing case of steamship Vaitarna which sunk off the coast of Saurashtra. The ship was on a journey Mumbai from Mandvi when a cyclone hit in 1888. Rana plays a scientist who investigates the missing ship. The ship was termed as Titanic of Gujarat and carried 700 passengers.
The film will be directed by Dhwanil Mehta and the script is based on a story penned by Yogesh Joshi. The film will be a bilingual and will release in Tamil and Telugu.
