Reports say that the Chinese remake rights of popular Malayalam film Drishyam starring Mohanlal has been sold to a Beijing based company. The announcement was made by Drishyam director Jeethu Joseph and producer Antony Perumbavoor.

Drishyam was remade in Tamil starring Kamal Haasan and Gauthami, In Telugu it featured Venkatesh and in Hindi the lead role was done by Ajay Devgan.
