Tollywood stars are generally a shy lot and most of them are not very active on their social media accounts. Barring a few posts about their upcoming releases they are generally absent.

However due to demands of new marketing tactics which heavily rely on social media and the fact that social media reviews have a major say in the film’s fate, stars are now forced to adapt to new age promotions.

Its been learnt that after the global success of Baahubali, Prabhas has roped in a Mumbai based agency to handle his social media. Joining him is Mahesh Babu who has apparently changed his agency after the debacle of Spyder. Early posts and negative publicity by certain groups were not checked by the current agency which led to mad media reports and the film’s ultimate failure at the box office.
