Noted playback singer Chinmayi Sripaada, has taken to Twitter and Instagram to share the ordeal she underwent in a public event held on March 11th. The singer was apparently groped by an unknown person in the crowd, in broad daylight.
The law for adults to report Child Sexual Abuse must come through. Children dont know what happens to them.
When they are old enough – there is no system to report these offenders moving around with ‘respectable’ tags.

However, this is not the first time a celebrity has undergone this trauma by felons disguised as fans. Even Bollywood celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor, Sushmita Sen, Ameesha Patel, Bipasha Basu and many more have had their horror stories to recount.
Not all incidents are filed and reported due to the prevalent attitude of society to blame and shame the victim making it even more difficult for people to speak up. The singer urged women to speak out and expose their assaulters who touch them without their consent and eventually take advantage of their silence.
