Earlier this week, the ‘Bhaskar Oru Rascal’ team had announced the release date of the long-delayed Tamil remake of the Mollywood film, ‘Bhaskar The Rascal’ to be on April 27th, Friday. It was announced by means of Official paper advertisements and the actor himself took to Twitter to announce the same. The film was earlier going to be released on March 29 – but was delayed because of the Kollywood shutdown ordered by the Tamil Film Producers Council.

However, Sources say that the producer has needs more time to clear some financial issues and has hence decided to release the film on May 11th. Meanwhile, Arvind Swami himself has cited lack of availability of theatres for a wide release has led to the postponement.

The film is centred around two single parents played by Arvind Swami and Amala Paul, who are polar opposites. The film also stars Nasser, Robo Shankar, Riyaz Khan and Siddique in supporting roles.Directed by Siddique himself, who also directed the Malayalam film, it is produced by Harshini Movies and has music by Amresh Ganesh.

Meanwhile, Arvind Swami has completed dubbing for director Karthik Naren’s ‘Naragasooran’ and is awaiting release for another film, ‘Sathuranga Vettai 2’
