Recently on the news for having three writers working on his next script, Director Bala is well known for his films. Reportedly, the three writers are Nalan Kumarasamy of ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ and ‘Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum’ fame; Thiagarajan Kumararaja of ‘Aaranya Kaandam’ fame and Srinivasan, the dialogue writer of ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ are jointly working on the script.
But the director is currently busy with the Tamil remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’ starring Actor Vikram’s son Dhruv, named as ‘Varma’. Shooting resumed in Chennai today post the Tamil Film Producers Council Shutdown of Kollywood back in March.
Produced by Mukesh R Mehta’s E4Entertainment, Raju Murugan has penned the dialogues of Varma. The first schedule of the film commenced in Nepal but within a few days, the makers had to cancel the shoot of because of the strike.
Reports suggest that the Director is currently filming scenes featuring Dhruv and his friends and is yet to begin the romantic portions. While still reportedly looking for an apt female lead, the makers are said to be planning to release the film within this year. Purportedly, A grand event will be held to officially launch Dhruv with the presence of his dad Vikram and top celebrities in the industry.
