In lieu of the ongoing TFPC’s strike, Karthik Subburaj’s revolutionary, ‘no-word’ thriller, ‘Mercury’ despite being released worldwide on April 13th has not hit theatres in Tamil Nadu.

But as it is available in other states and abroad, a few pirated versions of the film are making rounds on the Internet. Actor – Dancer Prabhudeva took to Twitter to request fans to not watch the pirated versions of the film.

He said, “On April 13th, ‘Mercury’ released worldwide, Everybody liked it, we are getting good reviews… but it hasn’t released in Tamil Nadu because of the strike, but it will be released soon. Until that, I request you all to not watch the film using piracy and ‘Thiruttu VCD’ but come to the theatre and watch the film” He then went on to compliment the mercury team and ended the minute-long video requesting everyone to watch the film in the theatre.
