Director Seenu Ramasamy, who recently completed shooting for Udhayanidhi Stalin’s ‘Kannae Kalaimaane’, took to Twitter to confirm that he’s collaborating soon with Samuthirakani. The film will be his first collaboration with Udhayanidhi Stalin. Tamannaah with whom he had worked with in ‘Dharma Durai’ plays the female lead in this film which was shot in a single schedule of 45 days.
The Dharma Durai director who was supposed to start the Vijay Sethupathi starrer ‘Maamanithan’ after ‘Kannae Kalaimaane’ said, “After Neerparavai, both of us wanted to collaborate on a project and when we met recently, it materialised. The film, similar to my other films, will be a village-based story. As far as the story is concerned, it’ll be a family drama that’ll talk about human relations.”
Meanwhile, Samuthirakani is currently working on his directorial ‘Nadodigal 2’, a sequel to the superhit film, ‘Nadodigal’. Samuthirakani will also be seen along with superstar Rajinikanth in ‘Kaala’ and Dhanush in ‘Vada Chennai’.
