Superstar Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson had recently visited Los Angeles to participate in a make-up test session for this Magnus Opus. International make-up artist Sean Foot, who had worked in films such as I andAvatar, would be designing the look of the characters.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was in talks for playing the antagonist, recently opted out of the film citing disagreement over the script. Sources reveal that names like Neil Nitin Mukesh and Hrithik Roshan are being considered for the role, replacing the Hollywood actor. Also, Amy Jackson is said to be playing a robot in the movie. But, its not known whether she would be the main female lead.
Co-written by writer Jeyamohan along with Shankar, Enthiran 2 would be shot by Nirav Shah and edited by Antony. As in the first installment, V. Srinivas Mohan would be supervising the visual effects. AR Rahman would be composing the music.
